5 post rules

some people don't have 5 post and they just go crazy posting with out even check if they posting in right forum just so they can download .

we don't ask for to much if you need to make you post quote just go to the welcome section and welcome other members .

I think the rule should be canned. The foreum is loaded with 2 word posts. What is the purpose anyway? How about a member time limit, say 30 days?

the purpose is to have a board where people come and share opinion not just download files.

5 post is nothing I believe I can make 10 post with out have to spam board I really thing is not much asking .
there is board that you need to post before downlaod but cant be the same day you register or board that close doors everyday because get slam with people downloading here we try to keep open all the time even if downlaod is close to non vip members .

5 post = 5 welcome I think we have it easy here .

But is "thanks" and "Thank You" really sharing ideas? If you look at all of these posts, they are just posted to get their 5 posts in. There are hundreds of 'Thank you's" here. And if a member subscribes to a forum then he gets an email for every thank you. I agree with you on the need for something but this does nothing but clutter the Forums. Your thoughts?

is true we get a lot of post that are stupid but most of then get delete asp some other later this way. vip member dont have to worry about this is only the resgiter members .
soon will gone start to give infraction for stupid post and that will help just need to teach other mod how to use new funtion .

I agree with jpettery too, you do do a great job, and sometimes thankless. I was just opening this topic for discussion. You know EVD, I owe you for all the help you have given me over the last couple of years, nothing personal here at all..., just talk. ;-)

I know we just talking and I try to listen and learn what best for members lets give it more time if still don't work I will then delete the code .

the five post requirement was remove for now in places there is a 35 seconds wait to download for free members .

remember if we max quote you will get a no permission after waiting sorry but sometimes bandwidth get max .

here is a example let say I want to download this file from the picture.

a new popup windows open with a progress bar and link to become vip if you want .

after 35 sec pass link is active if you click in link before is active you will restart counter.
