Here is a c/p i found that has helped me understand "the key's"
i can enter the keys and get the ird to work , i know where to find the key's
to do this also here , diff proggys , other sites ect but still confused a bit about how it works ant why some keys stay anyways i feel this is a great read and i know it will spark some questions !!! and that is just great because by asking and sharing we learn

MANUAL KEY ENTRY INSTRUCTIONS FOR COOLSAT PRO 4000:
Instructions for *******:
Find and select satellite tab: NAGRAVISION (00 01)
“Once you locate the above mentioned tab…
You must change the values of that screen to this:”
10: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX
11: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX
00: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
01: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 and save it.
If the above key entry instructions does not work for you on dishenet (NAGRAVISION (00 01)?
Change it to the instructions indicated above to the one illustrated below:
(Remember: This XX characters whould be replaced by the actual keys from keymaster) The zeros are actual key entry values needed, to make it work.
20: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX
21: XX XX XX XX XX XX XX XX
00: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
01: 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 and save it.
(Notice: That the #10 and #11 above are now #20 and #21 on this sample)
On some receivers, this is the only way it works!

Remember: Because I cannot actually provide you with the keys, I can only illustrate what to do.
You must adquire the real values using Keymaster 2.0
Remember... No keys are allowed to be diplayed by the rules here, so I can only illustrate intructions without the keys. You will have to use the Keymaster 2.0 to obtain the current keys.

A walk trough illustration of what to do: (To enter keys manually?
1) Turn On Receiver
2) On the remote control press 8282
When the key window appears:
On the top of your screen, you will see many tabs with options like Saca, Nagravision, etc. Scroll left or right until you find the one that has the following information on it:
NAGRAVISION
(00 01)
When you find the tab that matches the items mentioned above…
On the bottom of that NAGRAVISION (00 01) tab or choice, you will see a window with four lines, which contain letters and numbers… Scroll down using your remote to the first line with the letters and numbers and make the following changes indicated below:

The following illustration below is only used for as a guide to illustrate to you what to do. It does not necessarily mean that you will find the same letters or numbers displayed below: (they more likely to be much different) But. I use it to guide you in the process to show you what to do:
