DIGIWAVE: How To Repair Bootlock

Here is C/P, tthnks to mas521ca

1- First Option. try the timing trick
- TURN IRD OFF from back panel switch
- Open FTlink
- Hit UPGRADE
- Browse the bin you want to load and double click on it
- TURN IRD ON.
Try several times. First double click and turn On at the same time, then wait one second before turn it On, then 2 seconds, etc......

2- Second Option:IF you have a second receiver, do a software transfer ird to ird. follow instructions in your manual.

3- Third Option: try the How fix error attached.

HOW TO UPGRADE
To flash the Digiwave receivers you need the utility from /www.digiwave.ca or /www.digiwavetechnologies.com

Downloading Procedure for Digiwave DG6800 Receiver
1. Connect satellite receiver to PC with RS-232C null modem cable.
2. Turn on the power of the satellite receiver.
3. Open the Ftlink.exe software.
4. Select upgrade software .bin file.
5. Click OK for downloads the .bin file to receiver.
6. Make sure waiting for the receiver said GOOD--- (sometime take more than 5 minutes)
7. Shutdown the power for receiver and turn on
9. You can using your receiver now
**** Do not interrupt the downloading until it complete *****

Note: Use regular RS-232C Null modem cable for downloading PC to Receiver.
Use RS-232 DB-9 Null modem cable for data transfer between Receivers
To Receiver

How to Fix New Version Digiwave Dg7000 (Serial# bigger than DWDG70000503XXXX) ---ERROR 4 or BOOT Problem
Turn off the receiver
Connect the Null modem cable from PC to receiver.
Connect one cable from R055 to 13.3V power Line in the receiver.

Open the FTLINK upgrade software.
Select the upgrade bin file.
Turn on the power of receiver.
waiting the receiver LED show GOOD.---sometime take up to 5 minutes
turn off receiver
Should fix the problem.

4- Four Option: Jtag use files attached
