Newbie instructions for flashing Digiwave Diamond

1. Download “Diamond STB Tool” nd “Digiwave_DIAMOND_FUL EPG ALLOPEN”

2 Open STB tool and select “firmware download”.

3.Click browse and select “Digiwave_DIAMOND_FUL EPG ALLOPEN”

4.Click “connect” and it will say “version 1.01 detected”, then click start and wait for flashing to complete. Receiver will reset, check on system information to make sure you see “S/W Version: 1.01 (Apr 06 2005)”.

Scanning channels (if you want to load a channel list see section below)

1. Hit menu/Installation/dish setting (password is 0000), select the desired satellite from the list, select LNB power: ON, LNB type and frequency according to the LNB you are using (freq is 11250 for DN and BEV). Select 22k: OFF, diseqc: 1.0, committed: 1/2/3/4 according to how you hook up the LNB to the diseqc switch. Exit and save settings.

2. Hit “Auto Scan”, select the satellite you have installed the dishes for, by clicking them with the ok button, then click “ALL” and select “PRESS OK”. All the satellites selected will be scanned. When scanning is completed exit and watch TV. (you may have to wait a few minutes for the receiver to autoroll the keys, picture will show “scrambled”, just wait a few minutes).


Loading a channel list:

1. Download a Coolsat “ndf” type channel list from the “download” section. Any Coolsat channel list will work.

2. Use STB Tool, select channels, click download, select the “ndf” channel list file, click connect and start. Wait for download to complete.

3. Hit Installation/dish setting (password is 0000), select the desired satellite from the list, select LNB power: ON, LNB type and frequency according to the LNB you are using (freq is 11250 for DN and BEV). Select 22k: OFF, diseqc: 1.0, committed: 1/2/3/4 according to how you hook up the LNB to the diseqc switch. Exit and save settings.

4. Exit menu to watch TV (you may have to wait a few minutes for the receiver to autoroll the keys, picture will show “scrambled”, just wait a few minutes).
