Rep Power: 0 | |  Can't Get my Dp301.013 sgl Tsop working!
Hi,
I have Dp 301. 013 Single tsop Ird. I Jtagged it and grounded R79, loaded Tsop and Eeprom using Jkeys (used Flashedit and hexeditor). I followed a guide I downloaded from a website. The guide stated that I I may have to do a vidmod in case I have problem loading Tsop and Eeprom. I did 't had any problem loading them and both times is said " 100% of Flash programmed" and "100% of EEprom programmed". If Vidmod problem had occured it should have stopped at 99% (as per the Guide). i programmed my Atmega 128 card using latest script through Jeepers but all I am getting is black screen. The only channels I am getting are PPV Guide (110) and pentagon (61.5). The same atmega card is working fine with 3800.
Where Did I go wrong? Do I still need to vidmod it? Or there is a different script for Atmega for Dp301.
Please help. Lot of effort has gone into it.
Your help would be Greatly Appreciated.

Rep Power: 0 | | | Yes I did read the tsop and it showed all the info correctly like Box keys Ird number , Boot strap etc. Yes, NoDamnGood I Jtagged it from top. I changed the the build confg both in Eeprom and Tsop with 'A' at the last. mine was DALD and I changed it to DALA. Do you suggest I reload it using Vidmod?

You do not need a vidmod to back up the tsop
You do not need a vidmod to fix the ecm
You do not need a vidmod get the boxkeys
You do not need a vidmod to backup the eeprom or to write the eeprom
You do not need a vidmod to update the ird
You do need a vidmod to WRITE the tsop. THis is the most important part, without a vidmod you cannot write the tsop. And this only applies to the single tsop 301.013 |

Rep Power: 5 | | | 1. why the green light on reciver goes off after 20 secs. i was able to save my tsop but when i tried to do it for a 2nd time i get a memory read error. I'm afraid to erase tsop and get an error and not be able to write back to it and screw it up any sugestions. 301.013 SINGLE TSOP...BC- DASA, SOFT- P204, BOOT-18DB |
