installing new keys

when installing new keys do you have to first delete the old ones and does it matter which cam version i am using dreambox dm500 with a hydra image and can not get anymore updates i have been told hydra has stopped updating

ok did that but it still does not work i am using camd3 v 3.706 would this make a difference
