Dreambox 7000s is not operative

Hi all,

I am writing first time having problem with using Dreambox 7000s. I plugged it in and the box powers OK, display says dreambox version 1.05 and then volume level stays on the display, pushed the buttons on the front panel and they don't respond. I am using step up power converter with 50w power max. And eventually cannot connect to PC using null cable with Dream up program.

The box is German model with scarts, and I am US user.

Could you help me to fix the problem, please?
