1. Null modem cable.
2. SCART adapter if you are in North America and you want SVideo or component video since our TVs don't come with SCART connectors.
3. LAN (network with router) so you can connect to your box from a computer and to the internet. You must have connectivity between your PC and the DreamBox to program it. (You can also use a LAN crossover cable to connect directly to your PC without using a router but the router is inexpensive and makes life so much easier.)
4. A computer on the LAN with hard drive space on which to set up a CIFS drive if you want to record shows.
5. Broadband internet. Using dial-up is harder. The internet is not mandatory. DreamBox 7000:
