Also the guide has 8 favorites, if your receiver can only take 5 or so, please revisit before loading.
Some receivers to require the Unused (blank channel) satellite - just delete it if yours does not require it.

Another point that you must visit before loading the guide to your receiver, is that all receivers can only hold a certain number of channels, so make sure you know what the max out number is for you receiver type and modify the guide to fit within the limits of your receiver.

Steps to make these guides work with your receiver:
1. Open up the Guide in Channel Master that you want to convert
2. Click on 'EDIT' & then 'Properties'
3. Select your receiver type in the 'program type box
4. Next click on 'File" and select 'Save As'
5. locate save type box at bottom and select Network Database Files (*NDF)
6. NOW you have converted the guide to a COOLSAT format
7. Load to receiver and start watching TV!

TIP: If your receiver/project type is not in Channel Master, please advise SharpC for support!

Information regarding AC3 - Dolby Digital within the Channel Listing
All channels that can have AC3 (5.1 Dolby Digital) been revised accordingly. When you are looking for a channel and it has an * at the end of the name that indicates an AC3 channel - when selecting the option and the sound does not come in, that is because that existing movie/show is not provided in AC3 (5.1 Dolby Digital).

The channels that have a ** at the end are channels that have 24/7 programming for AC3 and will default automatically to 5.1 Dolby Digital!

NOTE: "Dolby Digital has an encoding scheme that supports up to 5.1 channels of discrete audio. In actuality, a Dolby Digital soundtrack may be composed of less than 5.1 channels. For example, Dolby Digital 1.0 is mono audio (single track of audio information), while Dolby Digital 2.0 is stereo (in which Dolby Surround or Dolby Surround Pro-Logic can be encoded). Dolby Digital 4.0 have discrete audio signals for the center, left, and right channels, plus a mono audio signal that is common for the surround channels. Dolby Digital 5.0 is like Dolby Digital 5.1, but lacks a discrete audio signal for the low frequency effects channel. Dolby Digital encodes these multi-channel soundtracks at either the 448 kbit/sec or 384 kbit/sec data rates.

Keep in mind that "Dolby Digital" does not necessarily equate to "Dolby Digital 5.1". "Dolby Digital" generically refers to the encoding scheme as discussed in the paragraph above. Only when it says "Dolby Digital 5.1" explicitly can you be sure that the soundtrack consists of 5.1 discrete channels."

ATTENTION:
The channels that don't have sound are the ones with Dolby Digital (Either with a single asterisk or a double asterisk) ... Double means the channel is Dolby Digital/AC3 all the time....single means that the station carries a program that has digital audio. Choose the alternative audio feed in order to get audio on those channels if you don't have a digital audio receiver set up to decode it.

How to change the AC3 alternative audio feed?
You need to click on the button on the remote that looks like a speaker with a ? . Then use the arrow keys (up/down) to select another alternative audio feed
