jKeysMegaPack_v02.06.07
UPDATE!!! It has been brought to my attention that jKeysMegaPack_v02.06.07 will leave your jKeys inoperable. Upon checking into it, I discovered I made a big booboo in the resistration process. If you have downloaded and installed jKeysMegaPack_v02.06.07, here is the patch that will make it work again.
jKeysMegaPack_v02.06.07_fix.rar
I want to appologize for any inconveniences this might have caused.
URGENT!
We interupt your regularly scheduled forum.
There are only four differences in this Mega Pack than with the last one.
1. Built with a professional Installer (Thank you r_f8).
2. It now has an "Uninstall" feature.
3. I added a few Free to Air receivers. They are still commented out
and they haven't been added to the Supported IRD list yet. I have not
tested them to see if there will be conflicts with the IRDtoFTA.
4. I have removed "B'Laron" from all exterior file names. Now,
the only place you should see my name is inside the documents that I
created myself. It was pointed out to me that it could be misinterpreted
as me trying to lay claim to jKeys.exe. I appologize for that. That was
not my intention. Dave2 wrote jKeys.exe, and I would NEVER
intentionaly diminish his claim to his software. I only created SOME of
the external documentation and the jkeys.def file; however, most of
the definitions I took from other definition files. The only definitions I
actually created were some of the DP301.013 definitions. I wrote the
DP301.013 Single TSOP "IRD" definition four years ago. I know it was
mine because my mistakes were never corrected, LOL. I also wrote
the DP301.013 Dual TSOP "Flash" definition 3 1/2 years ago but
never released it. I had to re-create it for the purpose of this
jkeys.def file. I also wrote the STi5517LWA Microprocessor definition,
but then later found it already defined as an STi5517 processor. It
was added by satFTA. All that work and all I had to do was look a
little longer, LOL. Sorry satFTA, I didn't mean to steal your thunder.
I also found an older definition file that actually contained release
notes. I copied and pasted their release notes in to my own to give
homage to the ones who came before me.
My next project is the DP311.015. I have about a dozen I haven't
ripped the iCam out of yet, but I will need to find the time to test them.
There will be one more package before it goes to stricktly updates.
Before I release it, however, I will be testing it fully to make sure it
works exactly like it is supposed to. I don't want to be in the same
predicament as the last time. You're not supposed to have to issue
a patch to fix it in the first few hours, LOL.
From this point on, all IRDtoFTA files made by me
will be set to automatically unzip to your "Bins" folder.
Now we return you to your regularly scheduled forum...
This installer will set jKeys up for you. It is set for Parallel
Port settings and is directed to look in your "Bins" folder
for your flash and eeprom files. Your "Bins" folder is
located on your "C" drive at "C:\jKeysMegaPack\Bins."
