25 Steps To Setup The 301-13

Ok , after spending many hours upon hours trying to figure out like some of you how to get the 301-13 set up without having the nag screen 005 come up and haunt you after all the work you did to get it going , i decided to write a How-To , to maybe help make this a little more in depth and clearer and to save bandwidth without the same old stumped SK mod questions ....

NOTE: Use the version of flasheditbeta9 in this post as it has the sk patch for this procedure included in it ....

Now this was done on a single tsop ird with a DANA build .

Now... this procedure is how i do them .. there may be other ways as well
but this works for me and i have done it on many 13's .... : )

"Note" I always do these After i have stream updated the ird
and then i never allow another update because the update may wipe out the sk mod"


So here we go ...

1.Make 2 folders to keep all your files in , name them Original 301-13 and Modded 301-13

2.Setup your J-Tag , R79 jumper and your V-Mod and make sure you can read your ird info ...

3.Open the J-keys i posted here .. read your ird info...

4.Go to flash programming and Save your T-sop to the Original 301-13 folder ..

5.Now go to Eeprom Programming and save your Eeprom to the Original 301-13 folder ..

6.Now , close J-keys ....

7.Open Flashedit 2.1 beta9 ..

8.Open up your T-sop you just saved ..

9.Hit open, then advanced ..

10.Put in your public ird hex and boxkeys from your bin..
using public fix , put in 011C746C for the ird hex ..
and then put in 8C A6 A8 8C FD E2 E2 63 for the box keys then checkmark CRC ..

11.Now go to script and scroll down the list to 301.13 No_RSA_MOD SK Bypass
now a box will popup that says Please enter your build config in caps !
Put in the 4 letter build config from the little white sticker from your ird board
hit ok and then save it into the Modded 301-13 folder and name it Modded 301-13 Tsop With SkBypass.bin ..

12.Now close flashedit ...

13.Now open up the other version of flashedit --Flashedit 2.0a.2 ..

14.Next, open your newly Modded 301-13 Tsop With SkBypass.bin from the Modded 301-13 folder ..


15.Select advanced .. now you will notice that there ARE all FFFFFF's in the info now ..
this is completely normal ! it means the sk has been patched ..
Don't Touch Anything in the "ird specific window " ..

16.Now go to save as and select "save virgin eeprom" ..browse to your modded folder again and name it "Modded 301-13 Eeprom.bin"
and then hit save .... and then a window will popup again ... Please enter your build config in caps !
put them in again ! ... and it will say Success , eeprom generated successfully , hit OK , now close flashedit ..

17.Now open up jkeys again .. and after it detects go to flash programming ..

18.Now hit erase ... and when its done , do it again ... do it 3 times ..

19.Ok, now hit program .. and if the flash is empty it will popup a window looking for a file ..

20.Browse to your Modded 301-13 folder and select the Modded 301-13 T-sop With SkBypass.bin file and write it ..

21.Next ,. close that window and open Eeeprom Programming .. and hit Program ..

22.Browse to the Modded 301-13 folder again and select the your "Modded 301-13 Eeprom.bin" and hit ok ..


23.After it is done ,. close the window again , and hit detect and you will see what you saw in flashedit ,
all FFFFFFF's in the info box .. this is Normal and a good thing ! and it means you are FINISHED !!

24.Close jkeys ... Power Down Ird , unhook jtag , remove R79 jumper , re-attach SB35 ..

25.Program your card if you haven't already done so and Watch TV !!

" Note " A copy of this text is included in the file so you can print it out ....
