Newbie without direction

I am definitely a NEWBIE - Not Exactly Wired Brilliantly, and Incapable Electronically.

I didn't do enough research before I bought this ViewSat 2000 Platinum, but I am hoping to salvage my investment.

I can scan and locate hundreds of channels on dozens of satellites, but they are all scrambled. Should I be looking for software, buying a different receiver, waiting for a fix, or what??

The response to my previous post sent me to 119...no difference on the dozen or so satellites I could see from there.

i dont know the ViewSat 2000 ,but off hand i would say software .look here

I do believe you have to load a bin , v77 or v78 is the latest, look for an all in one pkg for the viewsat s2000 with the how to's and guide ,if you can still power it up, then you will be good to go after doing a couple hrs research , :P
