| Nagravision and DISH Network Sign New Long-Term Agreement January 20, 2010 Nagravision, a Kudelski Group company, signed a 10-year agreement with Dish Network to provide the satellite pay-TV company with conditional access systems, Nagravision announced Jan. 19.
The agreement also includes the deployment of Nagravision’s next-generation security smart cards and signal protection technology to counter piracy threats. As of Dec. 10, Dish Network has already migrated more than 14 million of its subscribers to Nagravision’s security technology.
“Our mutual commitment enables customization of our solution roadmap to address Dish Network’s specific needs over the next few years and support their growth,” said Kudelski President and CEO André Kudelski, in a statement.
Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
