c&p,thanks goes to Colt44 Colts All in One for Xtreme & Platinum Receivers All files needed in one file Here is everyfile in one package you will need to get your Viewsat Xtreme or Platinum receiver up quick, less than 15 minutes if you can just read..
Make sure you use the correct bin, there is a sub folders, 1 contains the latest bin for the Xtreme Receiver and one for the Platinum receiver. Both receivers use the same .cha and .sat file and the same opkey..
You will need to set satellites up to match your dish configuration, mine is using standard dual lnbs on my T-90 dish. Locals are for the Southern U.S. mostly, but many more.. The Vus except for the Kids Vu are still out and so are the venus ppvs...Please for Don't ask that question any longer..When they are back up, I'm sure there will be many post on the subject, as in headline News...
My ant. configuration is as follows:
Disq Port #1 unused ( reserved for Nimiq2 when tree comes down..lol)
Disq Port #2 Nimiq 1 @ 91 Deg
Disq port #3 Echo @ 110 Deg
Disq port #4 Echo @ 119 Deg
All LNBs are set to Standard
.cha and .sat list are up to date as of 05 27 06
I have also inculded the Channel Master Project file so you may export the channel and sat info to any other flavor of receiver that you may have need for.( receiver must be supported by Channel Master)
7 Simple steps ( giving that you know how to load your unit or the basics)
1) Factory Defalut
2) Run Loader2 to and select the proper bin ( either for the Xtreme or Platinum, which ever you have)
3) Load PC to STB for reference to load commands
4) After receiver comes back on, turn receiver off by main switch on rear load the .sat file and load
5) After receiver comes back on, turn receiver off by main switch on rear load the .cha file and load
6) After receiver comes back on (reboots is the same), turn receiver off by main switch on rear , load the opkey file, load on receiver
7) After receiver reboots, hit the power button on your remote and sit back and watch tv. The opkey file contains the latest keys as of this posting, so both services will be on from the get go or unless there is a key change from the time I post this till you load it on that is...Must clarify for the really lost sould out there..lol
This archive contains all the files you will need.....
I hope this helps someone out, several have enjoyed the all in 1 deal..
